| The Memorial Athletic Club offers several youth conditioning
programs targeted to the specific needs of different age levels. |
 |
This fitness program is designed to improve cardiovascular
health and muscle tone. All children ages 3-13
are encouraged to participate in 45 minutes of supervised, safe,
easy-to-follow low impact, bench and light weight training exercises.
This program also offers dance and tumbling classes. It's lots
of fun for the kids and new activities are introduced regularly.

Level I is 3-6 years, Level II is 6-9 years, Level
III is 8-13 years unless otherwise specified. All classes are
held in Studio B at the MAC unless designated at MAC for Women.
Parents Notes: Children must have closed toe
athletic style shoes with rubber type soles. All parents must
be members and remain on premise at all times. Specific age
requirements must be adhered to. Schedule is seasonal.

This course is a 3-hour session designed to provide basic
knowledge of exercise and the weight room facilities. The F.I.T.
program is mandatory for all members ages 13-15
years who would like access to the weight room.

| Designed for girls ages 15 and over (younger if they have
completed Teen F.I.T.) Meet with our Lifestyle and Weight Management
consultant and our staff dietician to learn how to exercise
and make good food choices. |

| Here at the Memorial Athletic Club, we very proud of our aquatic
staff. Collectively we have over 230 years of experience in
teaching others how to swim. Programs include: American
Red Cross Learn to Swim programs for ages 6 months to adult;
offered year round; spring stroke clinics designed to help improve
stroke mechanics; year round Youth Aqua Fit classes for 8 years

Sports Specific Program. Geared for the high
school and college athlete, this program focuses on speed, power
and strength for volleyball, basketball, track and field, tennis
and more. Activities
include, but are not limited to, Spinning®, running, plyometrics,
functional training, and core work, and will consist of a combination
of indoor and outdoor training. |
Athletic Performance Enhancement Training.
Age groups 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19 & older; one to four-week
packages. Program concentrates on teaching each participant
the ideal form and technique during all performance drills,
whether it is using free weights, tubing, medicine balls, speed
ladder, running, or plyometrics.

| The program is non-competitive and its objective is to keep
the "swim team" kids swimming year round. The program
focuses on improving stroke mechanics and overall fitness level

Spring Branch ISD has approved the MAC as
an Off Campus Health Fitness Facility. Students can earn
Private PE/Health Fitness Credit (approved by SBISD and TEA)
at MAC through a blend of swimming and fitness activities.
