Body Balance Assessment
>>learn more
A dynamic movement assessment designed to identify imbalances in your strength and flexibility. These imbalances may lead to low back pain, knee pain, and/or a decrease in your physical abilities.
To determine your areas of weakness, digital photographs are taken in the anterior, lateral, and posterior positions during the dynamic movement. A BBA instructor will then design a customized corrective exercise program - including illustrations and descriptions - based on these compensation patterns. The four-step program includes:
 •  A dynamic movement assessment is recorded by way of digital photography in the anteiror, lateral, and posterior planes.
 •  After the photographs are examined by your trained BBA instructor, you will be given a corrective execise program.
 •  Included with the flexibility portion of your personalized program are static and assisted stretches.
 •  Your BBA instructor will show you how to strengthen your weak areas.
Scheduling. Appointments include one 30-minute session for the digital photography, a one-hour session for the flexibility portion of your program, and a one-hour session for the strength training portion of your program.
Cost. The BBA is $100 and requires advance scheduling with a BBA instructor.
Each month a Fitness Topic is posted to our website. Visit our Exercise Library for a complete listing of posted exercises with the option to view some of the exercise in animated format as demonstrated by one of the MAC's personal trainers.
