March 26, 2010. It is with
great enthusiasm that we announce the relocation plans for MAC for
Women. The MfW concept began 9 years ago this April. Over the years,
we have developed programming and served many in our specialized environment.
With this upcoming relocation, we will be accomplishing another advancement
in service to all for our members.
The new location is directly across Memorial Drive from MACAC, in
the same shopping center at Chuck-E-Cheese and Starbuck’s. Besides
a private and exclusive women’s only facility, there will also be
an adjacent expanded group exercise studio. In this studio, our rapidly
growing Mind/body programs of Yoga and Pilates will be expanded to
involve Coed participation. Some classes will remain women’s only,
but others will invite all participants as we expand our class offerings.
More details will be available soon regarding the growth of our mind/body
class offerings.
Due to facility conditions beyond our control at the old MAC for Women
location, we will be closing that facility in April as we make improvements
at the new location. The exact Grand Opening date is not yet known,
but it is anticipated to be a fairly quick project. Nearly all of
the Group Exercise classes offered at MAC for Women have been blended
into the schedule at MACAC. All MfW members
are welcome at MACAC and you will see many of the same instructors
and staff. The Pilates Reformer equipment is being accommodated throughout
this transition. Those accommodations will be announced in coming
weeks.
Progress for our relocation and expansion of mind/body programs will
be announced throughout the process. Please watch for status update
emails. If you are not receiving those emails, you may sign up with
our front desk personnel for club updates. |
